That's right, I have confirmed through sources yet to be named (ACE people) that MAX will be this October 22nd to the 26th in sunny Las Vegas. They planned it on my birfday on purpose y'know...

My little lady was on the tube the other day, and now I'm famous too.
It's almost MAX time. I fly out of Portland on Halloween, so it should be an exciting first evening in New Orleans.
I took the Dreamweaver MX 2004 certification this morning, and I'm now certified again. I only scored 88% this time, but then again I finished the 90 minute test in 20, had a client meeting I had to get to (I'm blaming poor scheduling on my part).
It's sneak peek time, and the floor is full of DW engineers with bee antennae and wings on (Utah is the beehive state after all), and we're about to get a look at some new Macromedia produts in the works.
And then some...
The keynote ran a little long this morning, but it was well worth it. With speakers like Kevin Lynch and Ben Forta there was a lot of good stuff. Not only was their good information about the company itself (along with some marketing... this is their conference ;), there were also quite a few new product announcements and teases.
I'm currently sitting in the Macromedia Community College getting a sneak peek of Macromedia Flex, a new "presentation tier solution for enterprise rich internet applications." This is a new Presentation Server on top of a J2EE server (Tomcat, JRUN, Webshphere, etc, etc). A .NET version is in the works :).
It's just about that time... MAX 2003 starts on Monday, and in order to keep those you not fortunate enough to make it informed, Macromedia has set up MAXBloggers, an aggregator of all things MAX :).
